This project entails the design, development, implementation and mapping of an illustrated deforestation monitoring and reporting methodology to strengthen nature conservation with a case study of Chiribiquete National Park. The methodology structure consisted of sections in which each chapter addresses a stage of the proposed system infrastructure. These range from storing of data, spatial analysis, generation and showing of the results.
In addition, this project hopes to continue searching international and national events to demonstrate that the mix of thematic and technical expertise allows for the transformation of a software platform into useful web-based monitoring and reporting application. Seminars and conferences will be perfect places to exchange opinions and receive improvements in the functionalities of the application, as well as to offer this project as an example for monitoring any environmental variable that will improve the quality of life in the future.
This project is going to be part of the Esri European Developer Summit that will be held in Berlin, where this development will be shown to important developers and geography professionals.

Type of collaboration: Technical
Exchange on geographic application development and participation in forest preservation events would be interested in showing the solution of this project. Therefore, this project hopes to be part of international conferences where the main objective is the preservation and conservation of natural forests, in addition to the use of the ESRI platform and the Python language for monitoring and reporting environmental variables.
