The aim of this project is focused on promoting sustainability education via school gardens and organic waste management. This project at International Sustainability Academy (ISA) was focused more on research and development of the working model regarding major two aspects, mainly to:

Promote Sustainability Education Via Sustainable School Garden (SSG)

• Enable the community schools to setup, design & maintain sustainable school garden
• Facilitate in developing the school garden as a common learning space about organic gardening, growing own food, recycling the waste, along with other sustainable practices (not just for students but also to the teachers, guardians & local community)

Promote sustainability education via organic waste management

• Develop a composting system within school garden for recycling the organic waste from local vegetable market (to produce organic compost for the garden)
• Encourage proper waste segregation & management, recycling (composting)
• Explore the green-entrepreneurship possibility with upscaling of composting project
