Today, it is a necessity for government agencies to implement data mining techniques that provide data-driven services and products, as data contains the knowledge needed for effective decision-making. Currently, the Ministry of Poverty's Food Bank Project in Namibia is tasked with and strives to provide social assistance to Namibian citizens affected by poverty. However, identifying those who qualify and truly need the Ministry's services is a challenge. The institution is looking for better approaches to improve the traditional methods used to identify those truly in need before helping. This project, therefore, aimed to develop an analytical classification model to recommend qualified applicants, using the first available data in the remote areas. This will provide informed recommendations to the Food bank project to formulate strategies and interventions to address poverty in the affected communities
